How a professional uses a pros.best page

A practical guide for consultants, coaches, practitioners and trades: what to put on the page, where to share the address, and how to keep the clients who liked you.

A pros.best page is one address for everything a client looks for before they hire you and after the job is done: how to book or ask for a quote, how to reach you, the area you cover, the work you have done, every channel you keep up. This guide goes through it in the order a professional sets it up. The short version of how it works is on How it works; what each plan includes is on Pricing.

The guide is the same for most kinds of work. Where yours differs, there is a page for it: consultants and coaches, designers and architects, lawyers, accountants and therapists, and trades and local services.

What to put on the page

The rows most professionals need, in the order clients use them.

  • Book or ask for a quote

The booking calendar, the appointment page or the quote form you already use, first on the page, so the client who has decided can act on it.

  • Call or message

A phone number, the messaging app you answer and the hours you pick up — for the questions a form cannot take.

  • What you do

Your services and how you charge for them, in plain words, or the page of your own site that sets them out.

  • Where you work

The towns or postcodes you cover, or the address of the office, studio or practice with a map link. Remote work says so.

  • The work itself

A portfolio, two or three case studies, before-and-after photos: the job that wins the next one.

  • Proof

The reviews you have earned, wherever they are, and the registrations, accreditations or insurance a careful client checks.

  • Your channels

LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, a podcast: every account you keep up, once each.

  • Newsletter and writing

A sign-up for your mailing list, the articles you have written, the talks you have given.

  • For existing clients

The links a client asks for twice: the intake form, the client portal, how to pay an invoice.

There is no limit on the number of rows on any plan, so the page can carry everything — but a short page with the way to hire you on top works harder than a long one. More on rows on All your links in one place.

Setting it up, step by step

An afternoon's work, most of it deciding what goes first.

  1. Claim the name

Take pros.best/yourname — your own name, or the business's name as clients say it. It is free on every plan.

  2. Describe what you do

Write two or three sentences about the work and what you want on the page. With Prompt It (Pro and Premium) the page is laid out from that description; you can also add and order the rows yourself.

  3. Put the way to hire you first

Order the rows the way a client decides: book or ask for a quote, contact, proof, then everything else.

  4. Share one address everywhere

Use the same address on every profile, in every signature and on everything printed.

  5. Invite clients to Super Follow

When a job is done, in the follow-up email, on the invoice: one tap and they follow your own address.

Prompt It is described on Your hub, in one prompt: ten prompts a month on Pro, twenty-five on Premium.

Where to share the address

The same address everywhere, so every road leads to one page.

  • Every social profile

The website field of each account you run, so every profile leads to the same page.

  • The Google Business Profile

Its website field, if you have one and your booking page is not already there.

  • Email and paperwork

Your signature, quotes, invoices and appointment confirmations.

  • Print

Business cards, flyers, the van, the sticker under the sink, the leaflet left after a visit — as a QR code or written out.

  • Out loud

On the phone, at a networking event, at the end of a talk: an address that is your name is one people remember.

Keeping the clients who liked you

Super Follow, private links and messages, in a year of clients.

Super Follow is the button on every pros.best page, on every plan. A client who taps it follows your own address rather than an account inside a platform, so the list of people who want to hear from you stays with you. Ask for it when a client is happiest: when the job is finished, the project delivered or the course of sessions complete. See Super Follow.

Private links, from Pro, are rows that stay shut until a client Super Follows, and open for them when they do: first pick of new dates, a discount code for a returning client, a checklist or guide you wrote, an invitation to an open evening. See Private links.

Messages, on Premium, reach every Super Follower in their super box, with no feed ranking them: new slots opening, a quiet month you want to fill, the season your work comes round again, a new service. You can also write one message — a welcome, a code — that is sent automatically to each new Super Follower the moment they follow. Use them the way a client would want to hear from you: rarely, and only with news worth having. See Send messages.

When to move to your own address

pros.best/yourname, then yourname.pros.best.

pros.best/yourname is free forever. From Pro, the page moves up to an address of its own, yourname.pros.best: short enough for a business card or the side of a van, and it reads as your address rather than a page on ours. Pro also removes the pros.Best branding, lets you set your own template and colours, and adds first-party click analytics, so you can see which rows clients actually use. Premium adds a certified badge, so a client can tell the official page from any other, and advanced click and follower statistics. See Your business. At the Best address.
